We'll see SmartBoard technology in use, hear from the Kindergarten teachers about how SmartBoards can be used in their classrooms, and discuss fundraising plans. Please join the conversation!

Welcome back! January PTO Events

This week (Wed 1/4 - Sat 1/7): our week at Magic Hat Thrift Shop

We still need a few people to cover our required hours. If you haven't volunteered before, it's easy and fun! (Click here to read the Magic Hat FAQ.) In our last allocation of the profits, we received more than $5000 for our schools!! Need more motivation? The class with the most hours logged by June 1st will win a pizza party.

Thursday, Jan. 12th: Pre-Kindergarten Open House at Gerry, 8:45-10am

Help welcome parents of children entering Kindergarten in September! We need a few people to bring refreshments, greet parents, and give tours. Sign-up to follow soon.

Another Successful Coffin-Gerry Family Night

Thank you to all the families who came out to the Coffin-Gerry Family Night at the Hurricane last week. It was a fun night with great food and we made over $200 for our schools. Thanks to the Hurricane for hosting this event.

Holiday Shop This Friday!

Dear Coffin/Gerry Parents:

The Holiday Shop is this Friday, December 9th!

1) $5.00 for your child

Parents, please remember to send your child to school on Friday with $5.00 for the Holiday Shop. Each child will get to buy up to 5 items for their family members. Each item is priced at $1.00. If your immediate family has more than 5 members, please feel free to send extra money to cover those additional family members.

2) Gerry Parents Bus permission

All children at the GERRY will be required to have a parent sign a bus permission slip. Each class will be transported by bus to the Coffin for their designated shopping time slot. Please make sure your child’s teacher has a signed permission slip from you this week!

3) Last minute item drop-off

We will still be accepting items for the Holiday Shop until Noon on Thursday. Please bring any items you would like to donate to Lauren Andriano’s house at 6 Doaks Lane. THANK YOU!

PTO Activities are for all Coffin/Gerry students, regardless of their ability to pay.

Please, only select items that you would like to receive yourself, as you just may find it when you unwrap your gift. Please make sure that all electronic devices and toys are clean and in working order (please include new batteries, if they are required). Here are a few suggestions:
